Reported by on 7/18/18

Calling all 2018-2019 Kindergarten Students!

Tuesday, August 21st is our orientation day. See the times below for your child’s orientation time. (Also see the attached flyer that you may print.)

This day will be an opportunity for your child to come to their room and meet a small group of children that they will be in class with. There will be time for students to sort their supplies if needed, listen to their first Kindergarten read-aloud and explore the room. Parents will come with their child on Tuesday, August 21st. These orientation sessions will last roughly 30-45 minutes. This day serves as an excellent transition opportunity for the children. If you are unable to attend, please arrange for a relative, neighbor or care giver to bring your child. It is important that all children get this valued time in their new class and with their teacher!

Once again, the Kindergartners and their parents will attend school on August 21st for 45 minutes only! Please follow the schedule to determine what time to come on the 21st. When you arrive to school for the orientation time, please report to the office. You will need a driver’s license or state ID to check in at the office. If you are unable to attend the meet and greet on Thursday, August 16th, please bring all supplies on the orientation day, Tuesday, August 21st!

Wednesday, August 22nd is the first full day
of attendance for kindergartners. (8:50-3:35)
